Here at Crewe Saddlery it's all about saddles and their fitting, our focus is getting you and your horse comfortable whatever your discipline.Established in 1970, we are saddle specialists with 3 Society of Master Saddler Qualified Saddle Fitters on staff, our friendly and helpful approach is supported by over 40 years combined experience so whether you are a professional or leisure rider our aim is to help you achieve your best performance. With a great selection of brands, in both leather and synthetic styles suiting all budgets we should be able to find the right saddle for you and if off the peg doesn't suit we can work with various saddle makers to custom build a saddle to suit you and your horse's requirements.
We offer 3 ways to buy:
- Saddle Fitting Service: For peace of mind.
- In store: Confident to fit the saddle yourself you can purchase directly from our stockroom either in person or over the phone.
- Order online: We check stock and availability, we will then call you to confirm and discuss your order, taking payment only when you are happy to proceed.

Saddle Fitting Service
Our fitting service can come to you, simply call to discuss your requirements and we will bring a selection of new saddles to your yard for you to try (Charges apply). We travel up to a distance of 50 miles to see individuals, however we are able to travel further distances for a groups of 3 horses or more.
Alternatively we are able to hire ménage and stable facilities at the Lawns Livery yard next door so you can also bring your horse to us and Save Money on Fitting Fees! Appointments are still required so be sure to book to avoid disappointment.
If you need a check up on your existing saddle, no problem we can assess your saddle for suitability and advise if any adjustment would improve the fitting.

So you can truly test ride your new saddle and whether you've had it fitted or purchased directly from our stock room the 7 day rule still applies.
All returned saddles are subject to inspection and a restocking charge may apply if over used, worn or marked. Any seriously damaged saddles will not be refunded.
